Sir Paul McCartney Reveals 2025 North America Tour Dates

McCartney to Play in Palm Springs and Albuquerque for the First Time Ever

Legendary former Beatles member Sir James Paul McCartney has officially revealed his return to North America. The return was revealed in McCartney’s announcement of his Got Back Tour 2025. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this will be the first time in three years that the iconic artist tours in North America. He will start this fall with a series of 19 shows throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The tour officially starts on September 29 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. Meanwhile, it then concludes with a two-night finale at the United Center in Chicago on November 24 and 25. As reported by People, the tour will make stops in major cities including Las Vegas, Denver, New Orleans, Atlanta, Nashville, Montreal, and more. Particularly, McCartney will perform in Albuquerque and Palm Springs for the very first time.

A Tour Through Decades of Iconic Music

Expect a rich mix of music that spans McCartney’s legendary career. Now 83, McCartney is reuniting with his trusted touring band, which includes longtime collaborators Paul “Wix” Wickens, Brian Ray, Rusty Anderson, Abe Laboriel Jr., and the Hot City Horns. As noted by Pitchfork, the setlist is expected to take fans on a sweeping journey through his extensive catalog, from Beatles hits to solo successes and Wings classics. Earlier warm-up performances included a surprise three-night engagement at the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan. There was also a special appearance on SNL’s 50th anniversary.

On the other hand, presale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, July 15, at 10 a.m. local time through paulmccartneygotback.com. The general public sale will start on Friday, July 18, at 10 a.m. local time. You can get them through Ticketmaster and Paul McCartney’s official website, paulmccartney.com.

Fans can also look forward to new material from McCartney later this year. Pitchfork notes that the singer plans to release a new memoir, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, on November 4. However, he has recently reissued a 50th-anniversary edition of Band on the Run. This was along with the live album One Hand Clapping.

In a statement regarding the tour, McCartney said via his official website, “I’ve got back! We’re hitting the road again in North America, and I can’t wait to see you.”
